No Laser engraving till further notice

Talk about 'Murphy's Law', I sent my Emblaser 2 to be fixed and serviced a week before the country went into Lockdown level 4, this means the people doing the service aren't working and even if they were it can't be Couriered back as its not 'Essential'.  So personalisation is on hold till further notice :-(

A few details about the Laser:  its a Diode Laser of 5 Watts power but due to the way its set up and made it is equivalent to a 15 - 20 Watt CO2 laser so reasonably powerful!  I can engrave items up to 500mm x300mm in area and as it has a Z axis (the Laser head can move up and down) so it can take items up to 50mm thick.  It has no Software on board so I use a nice bit of kit called Lightburn.  It can be controlled either by Wi-Fi or ethernet cable from my Laptop.  It can cut through some items but I use it primarily for engraving.  I do cut some of the shapes Jill uses for her Vinyl work out of 3mm MDF and 2mm Bamboo with it, but its not fast enough to make that economical.  Its also Australian made, which makes a change from Chinese Lasers that flood the market.  Its a Class1 Laser and has built in safety features.  Used a lot in Schools because it is so safe
